SPECTER-S 4.0 — 1000W Mid-Drive Full-Suspension Fat-Tire E-Bike

Built for challenging terrain and all-season exploration, the SPECTER-S 4.0 combines powerful mid-drive performance, long-travel full suspension, and wide fat-tire stability.

The 1000W BAFANG G510 mid-drive motor sends power through the bike’s drivetrain, while the removable 48V 17.5Ah battery provides energy for everyday riding and off-road adventures. A 140mm suspension fork, rear shock, four-piston hydraulic disc brakes, and SRAM NX 11-speed drivetrain help you stay in control across hills, loose surfaces, and uneven trails.

1000W Mid-Drive Power

The 1000W BAFANG G510 mid-drive motor delivers power through the drivetrain instead of directly through the wheel. This central motor position helps distribute weight more evenly and allows the motor to take advantage of the bike’s gearing when climbing or adapting to changing terrain.

Long-Travel Full Suspension

A 140mm-travel EXPLORER suspension fork at the front and an AO-38RC shock at the rear work together to absorb bumps and improve wheel contact over uneven surfaces.

The full-suspension design helps provide greater comfort, stability, and control when riding across trails, gravel roads, and rough terrain.

48V 17.5Ah Battery

The removable 48V 17.5Ah battery uses LG 3500mAh cells in a 13S5P configuration. It is designed to support the power requirements of the 1000W mid-drive system.

26" × 4.0" Fat-Tire Stability

Wide Kenda K-1151 fat tires provide a larger contact area for enhanced grip and stability. They help the bike maintain control across gravel, dirt, sand, snow, and other loose or uneven surfaces.

The 26" × 4.0" aluminum rims use 12-gauge stainless-steel spokes to support the demands of a powerful fat-tire e-bike.

Smooth SRAM NX 11-Speed Shifting

The SRAM NX 1×11-speed drivetrain provides a practical range of gears for climbing, cruising, and adapting to changing terrain.

An SRAM NX trigger shifter, NX long-cage rear derailleur, and PG-1130 11–42T cassette work together to deliver convenient and controlled gear changes. A gear-shift sensor temporarily interrupts motor power during shifting to help reduce stress on the drivetrain.

Four-Piston Hydraulic Braking

Front and rear HD-E620 four-piston hydraulic disc brakes are paired with 180mm rotors for controlled stopping performance.

The hydraulic system provides consistent braking control across changing terrain and riding conditions.

Clear, Convenient Controls

The handlebar-mounted BAFANG DP C018.CB display provides convenient access to riding information, pedal-assist settings, and system controls.

A thumb throttle provides additional motor control, while the manufacturer-defined display speed limit is set to a maximum of 28 mph.
